MY PLEDGE

so after an incident in one of my classes today... i began thinking....
really hard...
and then i began writing my frustrated thoughts....

Not only have I looked up to my teachers admiring their intelligence, personality, and even their organizational skills teehee, but I have also frowned upon just as many of them for their lack of.. well intelligence, personality and organizational skills. I never thought I'd say I miss my Napoleon teachers....However I'm really starting to wonder where in the world WMU finds some of these professors.

Although some of the following is from H.S., most are actual experiences since my beginning days as a Bronco...
*FYI none of the following is false, exaggerated, nor anything WMU should boast about* =)

A FEW THINGS I PLEDGE TO NEVER, EVER DO AS A TEACHER:

- I WILL NEVER bring my outside problems- ahhem a stuffy nose that kept me from a weeks worth of responsibilities- to the classrom
-I WILL NEVER make excuses for myself, my errors or my faults

...they get better...

- I WILL NEVER dress with my skirt unzipped in the back, baring my nylons.. and thats all... nor with my odd warty growth that hangs out of my shirt to my knees..... no, I have no idea either. barf.
- I WILL NEVER tell my students, "you're simply wrong!"
-I WILL NEVER touch their belongings after I hacked up a lung, picked my nose and removed my hand from my pants.
-I WILL NEVER publicly judge my students who are on medication
-I WILL NEVER be a smartass to my students
-I WILL NEVER fake a cheesy i-really-dont-give-a-s*** smile
-I WILL NEVER bring my lesbian partner (No, I dont have one!) to class for show and tell during language arts
-I WILL NEVER use the word dil** in front of my students (yes, yes it happened)
-I WILL NEVER lose my students hard work and blame them for it
-I WILL NEVER tell my students "reading was uncomfortable so I dont have your assignments graded" ...because that would fly if we used it, right?! seriously.
- I WILL NEVER literally whine to my students

interesting, I know. I am OH SO PROUD to be a BRONCO!!!!!!! GO WMU!!! =)

ahh i know i know, it's been too long.

Well I've been slacking, but here I am back to the blogging world.

A lot has happened since... ooh Jan. 12th huh? I am slacking!

classes are up and running.
i quit my job. and my wonderful benefits :/
i started another at a day care. intrinsic rewards. that's what it's really about, right.
{my bank account disagrees}
i celebrated 2 wonderful years with the sweetest boy i know <3
i continued counting down, down , down til the cruise! (ONE MONTH FROM YESTERDAY..ahh)
i had a just kidding trip to chi-town =)

the list goes on. but things are too crazy tonight for me to keep writing, so short is better than nothing, right.

I have dinner/workout/homework/shower waiting for me at home and I'd reallly like to go to bed earlier than midnight like last night...
