wow, I did it!

that burning feeling- that drop in your stomach like you just went over a dip in the road- the feeling where you aren't quite sure if you're breathing. Yep, that one. I hate hate hate that I always have to worry SO much about what other people think.

ssooo, I quit my job today.

yeah, I've been wanting to for a while now. I finally got the guts to speak up around that place and told my manager that I've found a new position in childcare- where I belong. She totally understood, and I knew she would. But holy cow I was freeaking out =) That's some scary stuff.

Technically, I'm not hired yet. But just about in. I'm crazy, I know leaving really good pay for a college student, and a big ole discount off my rent at my apartment every month. But i really couldn't do it anymore. Sometimes the perks aren't everything. Nor is money everything, I mean I'm gonna be a teacher aren't I? =)

SO here's to that new job I wanted in 2008, wish me some SERIOUS luck, Please!!

yeah, im done being the phone girl. the copy girl. the part time girl.
im ready for my passion. i need a job to flaunt on my resume.
no school will sincerely appreciate all of the loaded baked potatoes ive served.
or the number of 3 bedroom 3 bath stocked full of standard appliances i've leased on honeylocust lane.

I have applied for a tutoring job at a local middle school, a position as a chef at Young Chefs Academy, how fun!, and as a doing-what-im-meant-to-be-doing girl at Tutor TIme, a childcare facility. My roommate Kayla works there and I'm already 95% hired. I just hate quitting somewhere especially when I care about the people I work with. (With 3 others quitting in the past month....well anyway) Ahhh but it's time for me i guess.

I'm not a huge movie goer, but I just returned from seeing P.S. i love you, and it was great!

I must say, having three of my best girls, a warm vanilla latte and a crispy bagel with cream cheese in hand made it all the better. No seriously, it's a happy and sad and make ya smile kind of movie, so go on! It's the best two hours I've spent in the movie theater lately- although "Juno" was good as well hehe =)

hErEs tO tHe NeW yEaR!

New Years eve was spent with many of my favorite people. We went downtown to New Years Eve Fest where we went to a Magic Show, saw some pretty :lame: fire throwers, and warmed up with hot chocolate and soup! Then we celebrated {the way college kids do} at micahs. Most of us made it to midnight to see the ball drop, and the rest were awake by the time an amazing breakfast was cooked up by Micah and me...at 1pm. Here's to 2008 more memories with the ones I love. =)
