Today’s date: April 6th.
Today’s weather was: SNOWWWW :(
Today I went to: Secretary of State, then class from 1-9
I spent most of my day doing: group projects
I’m currently reading: 8 ball chicks- it's required and makes me sick to my stomach.
Today I watched: regis and kelly, DWTS, and bball.
I’m excited about: the end of the semester nearing. and wednesday slumber party w/my best :)
Today I wore: a winter vest. and boots!
Eating /drinking: nothing at the moment.
Today I heard: my favorite music.
Dreaming about: the future.
I’m learning about: economics, girl gangs, definite integrals, and midlatitude cyclones.
Today I talked to: micah, ash, mom, telemarketer.
I sent/received email from: group members mostly. and sent email to Dad =)
I was happy about: not having to listen to long lectures in 2 of my 3 classes today
I was mad about: the snow on the ground when i woke up.
Today I accomplished: 2 group projects, one being a 7 page paper completed in just over 2 hours! Oh, and I purchased new tabs for my license. WOoohoo
Today I’m remembering: my Grandpa, whose spring memorial is coming up soon.
I’m planning: on having a great day tomorrow. and my life next year.
My best conversation: with ash on facebook chat =) we are nerds.
Today in the news: Earthquake in Italy! My prayers to those who are involved or lost their lives.

March for babies! =)

Coming up in April I will be, along with the rest of the Tutor Time team, marching for babies! Maybe you've heard of the march of dimes or maybe you've even supported them yourself, or maybe you've had a firsthand experience with a premature lil one. In any case, I hope you'll become involved! This is the first time our daycare has been involved with this particular organization. In October we participated in Walk Across America with the "Walked Together for Kids" downtown Kzoo. This time, I am hoping to raise $200 by the mid-April walk, can you help me?! Every dollar we raise goes straight to the research, supplies, and all other medical costs required to keep all of those little lungs out there breathing. loving the SUN!

It was a great weekend- mostly because of the sunshine :) It makes me so happy. My condo went from 57 degrees to 67 with the sunshine coming in. To most, that's still freezing, but to me it's pretty much a miracle. HA.


I went to the Rascal Flatts concert in GR on Thursday. It was great, Ash got tix for her and I for my Christmas present. The seats were awesome and the Rascal Flatts were even better ;) Not so great was the opening performance by Jessica Simpson. Maybe you've already heard about it on the news, online or in the paper. 100 reasons not to. and only 1 reason to: I'm in love!

for whatever reason, I decided to just look online at pups. I think it was because a little dachshund walked by outside. Yeah, that's why. After some googling, I stumbled upon this lil dude. My heart melted. I know he's a puppy, and they have a tendency to have that effect on people, but I swear it's different. I even emailed the lady (yes, I took that step..haha) He's from champion bloodlines and lives on her farm where she breeds and shows dachshunds (including his mom and dad). He is up to date on everything health wise. She sent me even more adorable pics. He's only 5 weeks old and won't be "ready" for a couple weeks. I can't stop thinking about him, and have posted his little picture everywhere as if the one hundred reasons I can't have him will just go away. But all in all, I know they aren't going anywhere. =(

Reasons I CAN'T have a puppy:

i can't afford to buy him
i can't afford to "ship" him here
i already have a cat
i can't imagine asking my landlord
i'm gone for hours at a time
he will yip a lot, and i have CLOSE neighbors
i'd have to potty train him in the snow
i'm studying abroad this summer for a month
my schedule is so choppy
people would think im crazy.

when you figure out love is all that matters after all, everything else seems so small <3

here's to three years since the day we knew it was perhaps a little something more than we thought. I will not forget that moment :)

25 about me.

since my arm was twisted and I followed the path on facebook, I figured I might as well throw the stuff on here too! =)


1. I swore I wouldn't conform ;) and here I go...

2. tomorrow will be 3 years of living, laughing, and loving with my micah james moss <3>

3. i HATE being cold. my fingers and toes turn yellow when I'm freezing because I have no circulation! It's the worst feeling ever.

4. i will never, ever get sick of eating cereal. it is 100% my comfort food.

5. i hate running. but love working out otherwise. especialllly zumba!

6. bringing coffee and poptarts with tracy is the only way I can get through my horrible econ lectures.

7. i will never try a cigarette in my lifetime.

8. i have to have something sweet after I eat. even if it is just a piece of gum. I totally get this from my dad.

9. my cat has been licking my hand the entire time I've been typing this and I just noticed haha. weirdo =)

10. I'm pretty sure I still dream about the lasagna I ate in Italy this past October. NOTHING will ever compare.

11. The nine hour flight to Italy with Ash were some of the best nine hours of my life. In fact the whole traveling experience with my best was hilarious, frustrating, scary, and hilarious. =)

12. I despise doing my dishes. I admit it. and I hate it even more when Micah does them for me. Then I just feel like a huge slacker!

13. I have been entering the HGTV dream home giveaway in Sonoma, California every day for the last month. =) dreamin big.

14. my grandparents are (two who were) three of the greatest people I have ever known.

15. i love having my own place. I'm a very independent person and never get tired of being alone. :)

16. i sing all the time. At home, in the shower, and belt it out in the car. who knows if I'm any good. my cat doesn't complain ;)

17. being a member of illegal motion dance team was one of the best times of my life!

18. I LOVE challenging myself to do something that I see as unlikely or way out there. Such as being in Miss MI USA this past fall, and going to Italy last minute even when Im SO broke, trying out for IM dance- each of which seemed impossible at first thought. make it happen!

19. I know who I can and can't count on. I've learned a lot regarding this lately.

20. I have become really good friends with people older than me. I think its because I'm totally over the whole college lifestyle. 2

1. my two cousins + two sisters = four girls who mean a whole lot to me :)

22. If I ever treat my kids half as well as I do my cat, they'll be in good shape haha

23. I am a save-everything-because-maybe-one-day-ill-use-it kind of person. ugh. I'm running out of room, and trying to control this habit.

24. I hope to one day be somewhat fluent in Spanish. Excited to study it in Costa Rica this summer!

some things change

i haven't been up this late due to studying in a while.

i'm clearly not studying anymore. time to blog.

i haven't blogged in a very long while, either.

some things change :)



guess it was the wrong choice to continue studying for a disgusting econ exam tomorrow with the help of coffee. As a senior I should know better than to do this. This is all after an intense work out that has left me with 785 fewer calories. YES! I feel like a freshman again, cramming the night before. I must say I've been studying all week and still don't quite feel ready. Oh well :) I did my part.



I haven't blogged since JUNE. WOW. pretty sad.

a LOT has happened since June.

I moved into my own place, I went to Traverse City for the 4th of july, My grandma proved to be a miracle woman. again. I kissed my grandpa goodbye, so he could be with my other grandma once again. <3>all I had in the Miss Michigan USA pageant, I spent a lot of time with my family, I rang in 2009 with my love by my side, I turned 21!, I spent many hours with 4th graders, and, are you ready, I began my last semester of classes at WMU! woohoo.



todays highlights:

-waved the plow man down and asked him to plow my heaping trenches of snow in my parking spot. YAY the cavi wont get stuck anymore!
-successfully went through a half hour group conversation about 4 chapters I was supposed to read and didn't. I am such a good "pretender" =)

-turned my heat up from 49 to 60 after getting another bill that is more than my paycheck for two weeks. I said s**** it! I'm FREEZING! I'm gonna have a garage sale so I can afford this haha.

-salsa danced and hip-hop grooved to an amazing workout w/ tracy!

-sleep? maybe? I'm still not tired. suppose I'll read myself to sleep. Econ just does that to me ;)
